Custom Deck Designs
The general standards of building a deck is regulated through a minimum of meeting North Carolina Building Code. In order to add a deck to your home, almost every local jurisdiction requires that you obtain a building permit and that inspections be completed before your project is considered complete and usable. If you do not get proper permits, you could be liable for the structure to be demolished and rebuilt if it was not properly built to local code. Possibly worse, you could have an unsafe deck, porch, or structure built. Building a structure without getting the proper permits is illegal.
Decks By All Means has designed, built, and successfully completed hundreds of decks and porches throughout the Triangle, so we know what each jurisdiction requires. We take those requirements into consideration when we customize the design of your new deck. The structures we build usually exceed local code requirements, but that is just the beginning.
